** 1/25/2021**
Gales Ferry and Ledyard departments responded to a fire alarm activation. Units found a broke sprinkler pipe in interior of a empty boathouse. While on scene a second alarm came in from another building on the property. That alarm was also caused due to a broken sprinkler pipe.

** 1/19/2021**
​Ledyard and Gales Ferry Fire departments responded for a reported smoke inside a structure. The Gales Ferry assignment was release when it was found to be an appliance issue.

** 1/18/2021**
Ledyard and Gales Ferry fire departments were dispatched to a Technical Rescue. The patient was about 1/2 mile in the woods with a possible broken leg. Both departments were able to make contact with the patient and get him out of the woods to an swaying ambulance.

** 1/16/2021 **
Ledyard and Gales Ferry departments were dispatched to a motorcycle accident in front of the Ledyard High School. The Gales Ferry assignment Engine 21 established a landing zone for LifeStar and Rescue 27 assisted on scene with patient packaging.

This number should be used for medical and security alarm companies only!
On Monday, February 1st, at 12:00 am, the Ledyard Police Department will no longer have ties to the Connecticut State Police.
That being said, your security companies should have Ledyard Police Department as the police response agency.
